Vatos is a small and quiet village in the centre of the island, about 12 km from Corfu Town. Although Vatos in located on an altitude, it is only a few minutes drive from famous beaches of Corfu, such as Ermones, Pelekas, Glyfada and Myrtiotissa.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the valley around Vatos was actually a lake that has been dried today. Ropa Valley, as it is called, accupies an area of 10,000,000 sq.m. and extends all over central Corfu.
Ropa Valley is a vast green meadow where herbs of sheep graze and numerous cultivations prevail, mostly olive trees and vineyards. River Ermones crosses the valley, formating lovely lakes. The region constitutes an important life reserve, the hospitable refuge for various species of birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles. Exploring the meadow by car, bike or on foot will fascinate you.
This valley also hosts a large, 18-hole golf course and driving range near Ermones. The area is not much tourism developed, so it is ideal for quiet and relaxing holidays. |

nice and quiet place with big garden, away from the big tourist places, 900 meters from Corfu's
Golf Club, about 1,5 km from Ermones beach, about 1,5km from Myrtiotissa sandy beach (also nudist beach) and 3,5km from the most popular sandy beach of Glyfada. The biggest Corfu's Aqualand is about 4km away.

At the first floor are the 2x apartments with capacity 4-5 persons each, (each
apt. consists of, 2x bed
rooms, 1x double bed and 2x single beds, kitchen with 4 electro plates, oven, coffee mashine, shower/WC, 1 big veranda 18m2 at the front and balcony from the back side).
At the second floor are the 4x studios
with
capacity 2 persons each (each studio with1 x double bed room, kitchenette
with 2 electro plates,
coffee-makert and small fridge, shower/WC and 2 balconies with wonderful green view).

Mini markets, Restaurants, cafe, golf club and beach are in walking distance from house!
A regular green bus during the months May, June, Sept. and October drives nearly every 3 hours to Corfu main town and during the high season July and August nearly every 2 hours.
